Right I never installed mods or used any of them, that's why I'm on the ZM forums...
Also I have all my opinions because I'm stupid and don't understand things, thanks for pointing that out!

I guess you are right, modders don't deserve the ability to charge for their mods, even if it would mean that they could make a living out of it and increase the quality of the product...

Do you really think someone would make a living off of some skyrim mod? Do you honestly see that happening, ever? I'm not sure what kind of paradigm shift in the modding community you're expecting here but I can guarantee it would not be a shift so dramatic that suddenly people are paying top dollar for mods that others are devoting themselves to.

All this would mean is that sites that run free mod hosting would lose a large share of the modding market, and more people who mod would be tempted to charge for their mods, which would introduce limitless complications. No one thinks that they are entitled to mods or someone else's hard work. They just think that this change would break a system that works just fine as it is. Valve and Bethesda have both admitted it was a blunder at this point, so I think it's a moot point anyway.

Let's hope that they bring it back in an improved form. I really believe that giving people the ability to make a living from modding will greatly increase mod quality. If a modmaker wants to charge people for using his mod, who has the right to deny this to him or her?

Fuck that, do you know anything about modding? People have been creating awesome mods for Bethesda's games for a decade without any compensation. All the best ones are collaboration projects anyway, which would be a nightmare to monetize.

Actually, I don't think you've ever even installed mods before, because if you did you'd know that most mods require something similar to a script extender and mod manager, and what if the creators of those wanted to charge? It's mind-numbingly stupid from literally every perspective.

I can't believe you have the nerve to call people entitled over something you obviously don't understand.

Jokes about me will never stop being funny! go ahead somebody, I set it up for you and everything

So you're trying to find humour in being a punch bag now? There's nothing remotely funny about this post or you in general. I didn't think it was possible for you to look even more pathetic, but once again you have proved me wrong.

Hmm, that would also make your computer smell minty fresh at all times.

Freshness is important- I've noticed a certain "odor" from my computer's delicate bits.

that's because you didn't screw them properly

I thought it was good, but I could see how it wouldn't appeal to anyone who wasn't fond of the old-school RPG mechanics. Most of your complaints were conscious decisions in development, trying to stay true to the first Wasteland.

I personally really liked the game and I think it deserved the praise it received. The game had a good mixture of difficulty and did a good job of offering the player multiple solutions to problems most of the time, as well as forcing you to make trade-offs at every step.

You're not really going to hurt anyone with powdered chlorine. Unfortunately, there weren't any casualties so my hopes for an end to posts from Secone have been dashed.
