The trick is not overdo melee spam, yes sometimes it works against bad players but anyone with experience will suppress them, thus getting as a first squad and then upgrade a basic range unit for both helping the commander and pinning down the enemy one and later a second melee squad for flanking, also get the warriors for the crouch cannon, the insta suppression gets all the flamen spammers by surprise, and many people like to use the hive tyrant for the global health bonus, i prefrer the lictor or the ravener to neutralize the enemy heavy weapons and let the other units cause some havok.

gtfo here

Zerg is tricky since they can win very few head on confrontations. The art of playing a zerg player is outmaneuvering terran/toss death balls and whittling away at the infrastructure of the enemy until they can't field a deathball large enough to defeat yours. There's very few situations where the best zerg play is to use hydralisk/roaches, since if you just want a death ball, go play terran and MMM.

Ever since I learned he was voiced by J.K. Simmons I keep wanting to bring Cave Johnson pictures of Spiderman.

We need a game in which you play as Chell in NYC, portaling around the rooftops, trying to get a quick shot of Spiderman as he goes around the city and fights crime.

I knew he sounded familiar!

I loved how... sinister glados became. Also, non-stop fat jokes, hilarious. There were parts in Portal 2 where I was laughing so hard I cried

I can't join any servers. I either get a failed to connect message or nothing happens.

This.

I love these bundles - even as unscrupulous of a pirate as I am, I will still toss them a dollar for charity and convenience. I'm sure really they're worth far more than that, but it's more than they'd have gotten from me normally.

Well... it's more like a soft cap then.

Honestly I doubt you can hit this cap without seeding torrents or extensively using other peer to peer technology. As such, I wonder whether the future availability of my Argentined goods will be impacted, but really I don't think that anything will change at all. People who are using that much bandwith probably know enough about computers to just shift to a different provider, or route it through somewhere else where it's cheaper.

What do you base that on? Not everything is as black and white as the internet makes it out to be.

Look, you're either with 1984-style internet regulation, or you're against it. Think hard on who you're throwing your lot in with.

League of Legends thread! So exciting!

I used to play as Nidalee but nowadays I almost exclusively play as Akali. I think I'll go back to Nidalee for a while after I buy the lvl 20 runes for both of them. I'm thinking about getting a tank as well, probably Malphite, Shen or Jarvan (looks like a lot of fun to play).

The community is not the worst but is still rather bad; you'll probably run into a huge douche every five to ten game or so.

Shen's the best tank. Ever. He's the #1 best pick you could theoretically bring to a team, not of just tanks, but of EVERY CHAMPION PICK POSSIBLE. From what I've seen, Jarvan is also a great support/tank, and I'd highly recommend jungle Rammus if you'd be fine with never being able to play him in ranked since he's always banned.

Akali's great - grab 20AP in seals and and quintessences once you hit 20 and start with 15 in Offense tree in mastery for the 3 attack damage and buy a Doran's blade off the bat to unlock both sides of your passive. The flat AP runes also make AP Alistar simply hilarious, as you can do ~250 in two skills at lvl 2.

Message me on Steam if anybody ever wants to play a game.

Yeah, I'm sitting at like level 6 but I wreck everyone's shit with Fiddlesticks and Master Yi

Looks like I'll be adding you on my other other smurf, MyNameIsPyro who's lvl 6 then. Let's play a game sometime!

Who else plays League of Legends?

Love League of Legends! I was rated as the 1400th best player for a while, but hit a losing streak and fell from grace. Add me in game - predictably I'm Pyro93735, or add my smurf TheyCallMePyro if you're below 30.

As far as pure fun factor, WoW's been my favorite MMO.

As far as playing a RPG that's massive and online, Anarchy Online was the best I ever played; the level of character development was frankly insane, with unbelievable amounts of items and depth in crafting EVERYTHING and lots of content. Sometimes though I didn't want to invest two hours swapping gear and hunting down people for stat buffs in order to equip a weapon.

So long as they just pretend CnC 4 didn't happen and gloss over CnC 3 and continue from Tiberian Sun it'll be awesome

Ironically, I tried doing that once just to see how it would go. Not sure about other computers, but on my system, it runs at around 2X speed on most emulators.

In fact, strangely enough, all of the N64 Star Wars games are a bitch to run on emulators. Kind of sucks, because I would have loved to play Rogue Squadron again, since it's been years since my old cartridge broke. PC versions of those games are pretty glitchy too.

I don't know what emulator you're using, but the one I used for a few PS2 games had functionality to lock the framerate to a maximum or otherwise tweak the emulator to make it run at the desired speed. I'd imagine that a N64 emulator would have similar functionality - if yours doesn't, I'm sure there are other emulators that do.

I'll take one - I'm sure I'll take at least an hour to form an opinion, so I'll invite another in turn.

I know I joined as a Computer Science major to Michigan Tech, and I hated it. I talked to the Computer Science adviser about my concerns with the course work, and she gave me the names of a few other advisers to talk to on campus. In about a week I had three or four meetings with other advisers. I eventually ended up with the adviser for the undeclared majors, who suggested I do Scientific and Technical Communications, which is nothing alike to Computer Science and I am loving it. If the problem is that you don't like the coursework, I'd recommend scheduling a meeting with your academic adviser about it and then talking to others and potentially switching majors. It's the reason why I'm still in college.

I think people tend to get them if their wrists don't agree with strenuous mouse activity. My mum has one.

My wireless trackball mouse has proven invaluable for navigating Hulu and Netflix from the comfort of my couch. Other than that, can't think of any compelling reasons to use one.
