So.
Order of the Stick, if you don't know, is a Stick-figured based Dungeons and Dragons web comic. It's quite good.
It had a kickstarter drive to get the physical books back into print. I forget the original goal, it was something like 50k for everything to be back in print with no issue or something like that.
In it's one month run, it generated $1,254,120 dollars.
That's a lot of money. For a comic. A webcomic.
That's pretty amazing.
Contributed $10 a while ago. Helps the comic I love, and I get a free magnet out of it. Any idea when the address surveys are supposed to go out? |

So I was in a hospital less than 24 hours ago. Today at school we had a guest motivational speaker, and it was a mandatory assembly.
When I fell asleep due to how exhausted I am from being hospitalized, the guy proceeded to call me out in front of the whole auditorium and kick me out.
I seriously cried.
Fuck motivational speakers.
Thank bajeezus I have great teachers that can cheer me up and give me the day off to sleep.

my game keeps crashing as it loads, (i have all the expansion packs including the apartment life) and i am hearing that it might possibly be a custom content problem? how do i remove custom content?

Ooh, I didn't even realize that Autodesk did that, thanks! I'm downloading Maya now, let's see how long I can fiddle around with it before I realize I have no idea what I'm doing and I go do something else |

I remember fucking around with Maya when I was in high school. Even got a book about modelling, but never really got into it. Made a blocky old-school-looking sword and shield, but that was about it. Kinda wish I had time here in college to do more of that.

I got 3DS max for free from the same thing. Also I don't know what you're talking about, 3DS max is used extensively in the industry as well. And to be honest 3DS Max just looks a whole lot better to me.
Pixar, Dreamworks, Disney, Blizzard, Valve and Bioware all use maya afaik so that certainly seems like the industry standard. Also you'll see why maya is preferred once you start to model biologicals |
