your map looks good for a start but i was really hoping to see one based off the games.(re1,2, 3 or maybe even the outbreak series)

the movies are bad and and a large portion of the RE community agrees with me, even critics and internet reviewers agree with me.  The first one (the best one) doesn't even manage an average score of 5/10 its a bad film and the other films did worse.
They are not good stories. Seriously "all the water evaporating because humans are almost extinct and zombies walk the earth, so now the world is a giant desert" Ding! Ding! RETARD PLOT ALERT! At least the books stay true to the franchise. I wish they had made direct adaptations of the book instead of giving such a promising franchise to that bastard Anderson. (aka Uwe2)
Umbrella is a giant corporation that is so fucking advanced they can do magic and want to destroy the world and kill people just to be a dick. The movies are B-A-D. Anderson only made those movies so he could fuck Mila and he did and she bore his child right around the time he said he was done with the RE movies. Hmm. Mission Accomplished Andy.
The movies aren't even listed as horror. They are listed as science fiction. WTF thats not what a Resident Evil movie should be.

I don't care whether or not you like them, thats your bad taste in movies.  I want this map to have a different name. If not only to honor the sanctity of the games but to leave the door open for a map based on the games. If the mapper uses the name Resident evil then he is cyber squatting and being a dick.

this mapper could call it zm_hive or any of the other names I suggested. Its an early WIP so it doesn't matter if the name changes.

Well as far as I know it's a RE themed map actually being done well. Instead of a half baked job.

Although I personally think that the RE spin off dead aim maps would be more suited for a mod purely because it is a first person experience instead of a fixed third person experience.

Came across a pretty good HL2 RE2 themed map video featuring the Racoon Police building on youtube when I was bored.

Yes. You enter that corridor, doors SUDDENLY close, and then... Beams. %)

BTW, im make a few changes of the light on map... And make the blast door (don't worry about it color. I'm not build cubemaps yet). If you do not hurry to carry out all goals and return, door will be closed, and humans lose. %)
