Why would you buy a motherboard that supports 1066 or 1200 DDR2 RAM? It's almost certainly more expensive (and overall worse) than a motherboard that supports DDR3 RAM of equal/superior speed.
DDR2 1066 and 1200 RAM was the result of manufacturers of DDR2 RAM pushing their product to it's overclockable technological limit, akin to the GeForce 9800GX2 videocard when it came out. It cost a metric shitton, it performed well, and a comparable card (performance-wise) for a fraction of the price was released within a few months using the next generation technology for videocards, and it was overall better for using the next gen technology.
DDR2 1100/1200 was the overclocked version of DDR2 1066, 1066 was the preferred RAM for AMD AM2+ and Intel LGA 775 motherboards to use, and at the time DDR2 1066 RAM cost the same as DDR2 800. Oh it still is: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231148 DDR2 800 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231166 DDR2 1066

What video card(s) do you have?
If it's not a brand spankin' new one you could probably go with the 750W Corsair one that I'm planning on buying. I've read that the single rail on the Corsair PSUs are better than multiple rails if you only have one card, so if you've got a single card that isn't really demanding then I'd go with that.

So I think the 3d rendering part of my graphics card just died. I can still see webpages and brows the itnernet and my desktop and stuff. But it won't play any video games at all and it says direct 3d and direct draw are unavailible. Looks like I'll have to get a new one.

So I just got my 37" LCD TV back from my girlfriends apartment. I swapped the 17" LCD monitor out for it, but the color is... funky. I'm not having any issue with overscanning because I fixed that before, but the color is off it seems. It looks really, really bright. It's hard to describe, but has anyone encountered this before? Any sort of weird color issues with a 1080p TV connected via HDMI to a PC?
