Morning Everyone,

I got a question, I readed on the forum that there is a limit of banshees per player.
But when I just join in my own the map "redqueen_b3" I can spam a lot of banshees, without reaching the limit.
Isn't this supposed to be like if I'm alone that I only can spawn 1 banshee?

If anyone could help me, I would appreciate that.
I need to find out where I can change the limit of the banshees so I don't get spam on my server.
Also I need some suggestions, what is the best limit for banshees? If I got a 16 player slots server.

You want zm_cost_banshee and zm_popcost_banshee. The devs have noted the overpowered banshees they will be fixed in the patch.

The limit was removed in the transition from 1.1.3 to 1.2.0.

EDIT: I remember though that tGB said that they would have some legacy support for the old system, but I'm not entirely sure if it was kept in the end.

mmhm. Keep in mind that all of our playtesters are long-term fans who spent a year killing matrix banshees with a crowbar; it's only natural they'd think that after removing the matrix-ultra-dodge powers of the banshee, it seemed weaker.

To be honest, when I played 1.2.0 this weekend I had this feeling people were getting PWNED by banshees more than ever before. Either I misread that or you say they feel weaker? Because now I *RUN* from banshees haha.

I think it's because people still aim like in 1.1.3. Everyone will get used to aiming correctly soon.

They are able to spam each class of zombies, shamblers,banshees,hulks and immolators. There is not limit.
Hope to know how to fix this, because it don't depends on max players.

Servers can put a hard limit on the number of banshees per player, exactly as it existed in 1.1.3, using the var zm_banshee_limit.

Banshees are getting balance tweaks in 1.2.1.

They can't only spam the banshees I've seen.. :/

Have you played as ZM? There is a very definite limit. In fact it's lower than the old 1.1.3 style limit.

I'm afraid we don't have a special nose we use to smell all balance problems, or bugs that didn't come up during testing.

my game keeps crashing as it loads, (i have all the expansion packs including the apartment life) and i am hearing that it might possibly be a custom content problem? how do i remove custom content?

They picked people who had been playing ages and knew what they were doing, it's awkward to find a balance with TheCze ZMing while Dumbname TKs us all.
