One of the odd things I find about political correctness is is the PC term for black people: African American. What bugs me about it is it's not really a race, it's just dual nationality. If you were a white guy who was born in Africa and had citizenship there as well as the United States, who that technically make you African American?
And it assumes you're from Africa (Maoris? Aborigines? What are those?), and it assumes you're American, and it's kind of stupid that having a great-great-great-great-grandfather being African makes you African-American, but having an Irish great-grandfather doesn't make you Irish-American.
