I've decided I like this guy.
Just throwing that out there.
Edit: Of course, it has to be a new page, so this sticks out. Just my luck.

Hey, i went through my maps i had stored and i found these which i think u might like.
zm_cityofevil_alpha
Nice long map with good objectives, decent traps and spawn points.
deathrun_tp_percolate_oreob1
A typical deathrun with a twist. Great funny minigame:D
zm_awesomehouse_v6
Most of you who have played zm for a while might remember this map, and its a shame severs dont run it anymore (correct me if i am wrong but i have not found any).
This map is small but has (in my opinion) the best traps.
zm_mall_b2
This map was brilliant but for some reason not used anymore. Survivors get a number of places to barricade and the zm must kill them before the times runs out.
zm_random_b1fix
Another very good deathrun.
zm_plundergrounds_b2
This is a good map with funny and useful traps for the zm, while survivors get to ride a makeshift car.
Note: This map has seen some problems in the past and hopefully this is the fixed version.
The problem involved survivors not being able to get the car working when even all the tyres had been collected and therefore the mission could not be completed.
Message me on steam if u want any of these maps.
But dont take my word for them try them out for yourself =P

I considered plundergrounds, but I feel that's too big for a server with a cap of 10, but it is definitely a solid map. If you could PM me a link to Awesomehouse I'd check it out, but I've never seen it anywhere.
Not a big fan of the unavoidable kill you trap maps like deathrun and random.
Another note: I've been on vacation, hence the lack of activity. I'll be back mondayish.

So only 9 survivors. I guess that explains why most of the larger and more complex maps didn't make your cycle.

Yeah, but I feel the lower cap is worth it. When you get too many survivors the experince becomes impersonal. Areas get too crowded, people just start to dick around and do their own thing like getting props on elevators while their teammates do all the work.
And the ZM is less focused on killing an individual and is more focused on just getting some kills no matter how he gets them, usually has to do some more cheap tactics to make sure SOMEONE gets gibbed.
But yes, the bigger maps are more difficult to add into the cycle successfully, but I think by and large, more maps work better with less people rather than more people.

I believe the devs themselves have said that 16 people is a bit much. At least I remember AL saying something like that.

I don't remember what all the servers were at launch. Were they 16?
