It doesn't matter how good the PC is, it if isn't using very specific graphics cards or processors it will run like shit. The game itself should have been optimised better from the start, or preferably designed on the PC and ported to consoles.

I really don't see how you of all people could justify a shitty port like that.

CPU Specs:
  • Three symmetrical cores running at 3.2 GHz each
  • Two hardware threads per core; six hardware threads total
  • 128 VMX-128 registers per hardware thread
  • 1 MB L2 cache

Memory Specs:
  • 512 MB of GDDR3 RAM
  • 700 MHz of DDR
  • Unified memory architecture

If your PC specs don't compare well to the Xbox 360's specs, then it's probably because you need
a better pc

You don't wanne really compare a PC with a console, do you?

A lot of German PC magazines stated that GTA4 runs hillariously slow on high end PCs.

It was terrible optimized. This is a fact.

Ran smoothly here on highest settings.

It was awful on my old pc which had only one core, but with a proper pc there is no problem running it.

Only then did the elves begin to suspect that the dwarves were not bringing any Amontillado.

Well, my only problem with GTA that it forces me to play on low settings, I set it so that it is higher and then it disabled online for me.  Even with the higher settings, my FPS hardly went down.  I don't know why it just limits it all.

Supported video cards at release:
ATI® RADEON® X1950, HD 2000/3000/4000/5000 series
NVIDIA GeForce® 7/8/9/100/200 series

So pretty much any of those is a very specific graphics card?

I'll play with you, if you don't mind. I haven't beat the game yet, and I have a variety of leveled people up to like 26, but I don't mind starting a new character. Also, I assume you have the expansion as well?

Just add meta_stick. I'm usually free to play as long as I'm not in Gothic 2. Which sometimes isn't steam friendly, like most old games.

So, I'm in love with die2nite, I'm still learning the basics but in your town everyone genuinely tries to stick together and work together to make a town that survives the zombie apocalypse. We've had 1-2 troublemakers but the rest of us all talked together and were like "Okay, we need to kick these guys out, they've been hoardng supplies and generally are not helping us, we need to take some action" so we kicked them out of town and wished them the best of luck.

Do the invites work the way Vindictus did? Whoever registered with Vindictus after getting an invite key, they got one to give to another person. If so, can we chain register the heck out of it?

Hopefully, if we can get a ton of keys for it and use it here.  That would be one awesome ZM Forum game.

I didn't get a spare key no, but if these guys are still doing it, go to http://www.facebook.com/BetaKeys, like the group, make a comment on their die2nite post, and send them a blank email, unless it already ended you'll get a key, that's how I got mine

Just gave a key to Meta-Stick, going to work on getting more keys and giving them to those who need them

Actually anyone who gives me their email I can set them up with a key, for the time being at least
