First post from new comp, 8 gigs DDR2 and a quad core clocked at 3.2 Ghz.
My graphics will be run from a Nvidia Gefore 8600 GS untill I can afford a 9800.
EDIT I have to be awake at 4:45 AM tomorrow, should I install my new copy of Civ V?
Fuck don't do it. I installed the demo last night at 2am, and couldn't resist trying it out. Ended up going to bed well after 4am, overslept, and missed class. I may have to buy that game now. |

I know first hand that I can spend 18 hours on a civ game and not think more than five minutes have passed (civ IV launch), but its just sitting right there begging me to play it..... |

I Skype chatted with a guy who had been up for something like 9 days straight. He was shouting slurred Russian while playing CoD 5 and banging randomly on his desk.

9 days is kind of iffy. Had a 2 night LAN and everyone went home after mid-first day. 1 guy had literally fallen to sleep on his keyboard while playing something. Let's say we as ethnic Estonians are weak and people could survive longer but 9 days!? |
